Mira River Park - The Old Brickyard on The Mira

Our society was formed in September 2006. We are a non-profit organization and wish to enhance and promote Mira Park. We are located on route 22, 2.5 k.m. down Brickyard Road, Albert Bridge, N.S.

The park has over 100 campsites, private waterfront lots, pinic areas and day beaches. The scenery and nature within the park is second to none.

Our aim is to promote health and wellness in the park for campers and local residents. Through fundraising our plans are to promote walking trails, playground equipment and physical activiy such as cross country skiing and snow shoeing. We would like to utilize the park year round.

We had a number of sucess full events and plans for fun days with childern of all ages. We also have a monthly50-50 draw to help raise funds.

With help of natural resaurces our plans are becoming a reality. The society meets once a month and new members are always welcome.
